The last Dota 2 major of the season in Arlington in the US state of Texas has started with entry problems for various players. According to a tweet from the organizer PGL Esports, the Chinese team Xtreme Gaming decided not to arrive at all after the rejection of a player's visa.

In addition, Fnatic is particularly affected by visa problems. Three players could not get a visa on time, which means that the team is now starting with more TSM substitutes than with their own. In the first two games, the combined team managed to record two draws.

Also, the winners of the last major in Stockholm, OG, again play with Sébastien "Ceb" Debs in representation for Mikhail "Misha" Agatov.

The teams with German players, Entity (1-0-1), Tundra Esports (0-1-1) and Soniqs (0-1-1), started the tournament with mixed results.
