On the first matchday of the third season of the European Rainbow Six League, major winner Rogue lost to Natus Vincere with a score of 6:8.

"Our bootcamp in Stuttgart has gone really well so far. It has been great since we arrived. We put a lot of work in with our new players," Nathan "Nathan" Sharp of Navi said in an interview after the game. "We haven't had much time to prepare with our new players, but we've made good progress so far.»

The victory of the still young Navi squad against the winners of the Berlin Major is a surprise right at the beginning of the third EU league of the year. Teams with good placings can qualify for the next Six Major, which will be held at an as yet unknown location in Asia.

Heroic and Wolves, who won the first and second leagues of the year, were able to start the season with better results. Wolves defeated G2 Esports and Heroic the opponents Outsiders comfortably.
