German wins the Poker World Championship in Las Vegas

In Las Vegas, a German won the World Poker Championship for the 3rd time. Koray Ademir (31) finally prevailed against the American George Holmes after 223 hands played. Ademir won the equivalent of $ 7 million and a diamond bracelet worth $ 450,000.

When Holmes went all-in at the final table, Aldemir managed to win against the royal couple of the American with his doubles pair of ten and seven. This makes the native Berliner the 3rd Canadian winner of the Poker World Championship alongside Pius Heinz and Hossein Ensan.

Koray Ademir currently lives in Vienna and has already won several games worth millions in his poker career.
